Hong Kong
Just got back from Hong Kong Again and what a fantastic place it is. This time i spent 3 weeks there in the winter so it was not so humid, a bit chilly in fact. This has to be one of my favorite destinations in the world without doubt. It seems so clean compared to here, there are litter bins every hundred yards or so and people actually use them. They all have ashtrays in them and i didn't notice any fag ends on the floor. I saw these bins being emptied at 11.30PM. Something we could learn here in the UK. No graffiti anywhere and the MTR (underground) is spotless and ontime. I had no worries about using it late at night. It seems people young and old have respect for things over there. The food is great and if you are in Wanchai try a restaraunt called "HAY HAY" on Lockhart Road,nice local Quisine tho just about any style of food can be found just about everywhere. As well as just visitng Disneyworld and Ocean Park take a trip to Victoria Peak, especially at night for some stunning views across "Central" and the bay. Oh and of course there are the shops open all day and well into the night and of course there is Mong Kok night market, this is well worth a visit. I could spend hours singing the praises of Hong Kong but i dont have that long. But i can see why The Chinese wanted it back and the british were sad to see it go.
