Instead of Prison Just a thought. Most people in the UK have heard about the violent gangs and youths roaming our streets and causing trouble and even attacking and murdering innocent people. Instead of giving them ASBO's (a slap on the wrist), which some see as a badge of honour,or sending them to a life of luxury in prison why dont we give them 6 weeks basic army training and ship them off to war zones like Afganistan or Iraq for the duration of thier punishment? Those that do make it back alive will probably have learned a great deal about life, respect and disciplne.
